Coach Morgan's Run Philosophy
Run for FUN | Run because you CAN | Have a YOU versus YOU mentality
Running, to me, is all about the fun you have while training for races. The people you meet, the friends you make, and the incredible memories you create. Some of shear agony and grit, and others, the fun celebrations after the work is done.
My personal advice to a newbie runner is, hire a coach to help you start running and when you feel comfortable running a 5k, join a running club in your neighbourhood and go and have some FUN. You WILL thank me for this. Running changed my life and it will change yours too.
There are an abundance of Running clubs in Toronto for all levels of runners. My favourite is the High Park Rogue Runners out of High Park! Go and check them out, they are a diverse bunch of peeps!

"In my first ever marathon (Toronto Goodlife) I ran with a leg injury, as you do, finished in 4:14 and took 8th place in my age category. Turns out I missed a Boston Qualifier (BQ) by just 4 minutes — and at the time, I had no idea what a BQ even was!
That little oversight changed my life. And yes — I chased it, caught it, and made it to the holy grail of marathons.
And this story? It’s not over yet."
