WHY DO I LOVE RUNNING &
WHY DO I WANT TO HELP PEOPLE LEARN TO RUN?
What does it do for me?
I was born to move, I love moving my body, whether it’s field hockey, tennis, squash or golf. I love it and of all the ways to move, running is my absolute favourite thing to do!
Movement gives me energy and the endorphins post running or working out are indescribable. To me the runner's high is both POWERFUL & WEIGHTLESS.
Running creates a sense of freedom and peace. It’s my therapist and it could be the same for you!
Why am I launching a LEARN TO RUN COACHING PROGRAM?
I learnt something while training for my triathlons. There are some strong athletic people that are great swimmers and bikers BUT they hate running. They find it hard and just don't want to do it because they don't enjoy it… WHAAAAT? (how is that possible?) It is exactly how I feel about swimming, so actually, so I get it!
Also, most running clubs don't allow people to join unless they can run 5k comfortably. To some, this is very intimidating and unfair, these are the people I am reaching out to.
I am here to help you learn to RUN and my commitment is to take you from ZERO to 5k in 10 weeks.
I feel like everyone should have the opportunity to feel and experience the joy of running. It changed my life and it could change yours too.
